    Professional Hunter, Christiaan Gunther, grew up on the family farm at Stillerust Ranch where he started hunting at the age of 8. The Stillerust ranch has been under family operations since 1882, and currently serves as the Aloe Africa home base. Chris actively resides at the ranch alongside his wife, 2 children, and parents who all contribute towards the Aloe Africa Hunting experience. 

    Chris has been a licensed PH for 22 years, and currently guides out of the KwaZulu-Natal province for free range game with local and out-of-country clients. He also leads the anti-poaching unit for the area.

    Professional Hunter, Yogi Potgieter, began hunting at the age of 6 in the KwaZulu-Natal province where he grew up on a game and cattle ranch. He has been a registered PH for 14 years, with 12 of those years being dedicated towards dangerous game.

    Having spent many years freelancing with multiple outfitters throughout the country, Yogi has prioritized cultivating longstanding relationships with his clients and providing an authentic safari hunting experience that has since lain the foundation for Aloe Africa Hunting Safaris.
